I know that this post is supposed to target adds and commercials but, I wanted to add this.

Had I realized, when I was a young man, the market for oil cans and other related items, I would have kept a number if things from my father's ESSO/EXXON station that he owned from '55-'79. Especially the ESSO products. I think I still have a couple of pints of ESSO ATF but, that's it!

The "Put A Tiger In Your Tank" slogan and many other signs that were posted in the service station over the years. Along with specific products that he sold that were proprietary to ESSO/EXXON, especially stuff in a metal can. Uni-Flo, SuperFlo, Atlas tires, batterys and accessories(belts/hoses, coolant). Too many things to remember/mention.
