My first time use of Supertech 0w20 this oil change. Also a Fram Tough Guard for the 5.3 GMC. Sure is easier on the budget. I guess I’m balancing my oil costs with the Driven break in oil in my Pontiac. They are right proud of that oil. It will be Valvoline VR1 after break in with a Wix filter.

Found 2 jugs of Castrol Edge Gold 0w20 on Walmarts website. I like the 229.71 approval at a discount compared to euro oils like liqui moly.
How dare you.It’s not really all that good but I always stop at that McDonald’s to grab an iced coffee and a fistful of plastic straws
Walmart in Squamish has 15w40 Delvac on for $78 Canuck bucks that works out to about $54 USD.
They forgot to charge the environmental and disposal fees and whatever else they can think up.
That and a 9100 filter will go in my daughter’s 2018 Duramax just coming up on 60,000 kms.

Decided to run 0W-20 for the rest of winter and switch to 5W-30 in late Spring (Mazda 3.) Oil change this weekend (Put it off because of weather last weekend.) Valvoline 0W-20 Advanced Full Synthetic. $24.99 at Walmart and already got back the $5 rebate making it $19.99. Best rebate system ever.

The supertech filter in this size is no longer available and the motorcrafts etc have gotten expensive

I went across the border today into Niagara Falls NY and I was expecting to see VRP 0w20 at the Walmart location on Military Road because the Walmart website says that they have 9 in stock. But when I arrived there they didn’t have any VRP at all and when I asked an employee (just in case it was in a stock room) he told me that his system didn’t show any in that store 
So I had to pay $38.99 at Autozone instead of getting it for $29.97 
A couple of weeks ago I got some from a different Walmart in NF but they only had 5w20. At least now I have the 0w20 for my upcoming change this month and then I’ll use the 5w20 for the following change (likely to be in the early summer)

Just ordered (3) 5 Quart Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30 jugs from Amazon for ~$29.50 each. I am running this oil in my '20 Expedition with 3.5L Ecoboost with 4-5K mile intervals.
I snapped a jug of M1 AFE 0W-16 and a Purolator Boss 14476(or whatever is their PH4967 size is) from AAP’s closing liquidation. The AFE will go into the Camry, the Boss will go on the Prius.

I just picked up an OE+ Pro Series oil filter from PartSource today. They are 15% off right now so I paid $10.19 Canadian (which is $7.09 US). This is a very good looking filter and it’s made by PG. This one was made in Vietnam.
