One jug of GTX HM for my Accord today. I don't like what we're seeing in recent Pennzoil Platinum VOAs, so I'm switching after using PP HM/Pennzoil blend HM in this car for the past five oil changes.
I also got a Denso oil filter for this next change. Never used one before, but it seems like the answer to a reliable filter offering. I was using Wix a couple years ago for awhile, and then multiple people here experienced leaking cans, so I switched back to Fram. Now Fram seems to be deteriorating in quality. This all comes way after I had already switched away from Purolator years ago after all the media tears.
I don't care that the Denso is just a cellulose media. It seems that the construction is solid, and in person, the threads are clean, the ADBV lines up to the baseplate holes perfectly, and it even arrived with a plastic seal over the open end of the filter to prevent debris from entering during packing and shipping, which is a nice touch. So I'll be sticking with Denso from now on unless something drastic happens with them too.
