2003 Honda Civic LX AT 39,315 miles SuperTech ST3593A Mobil Super 5000 5w20 This last run was longer than my usual- ~9,500 miles, about a year ago I ran synthetic. About this "Maint Req'd" light: it goes off every certain number of miles, correct? Any advice on my oil change schedule/which oil I should use? The car sits for most of the year as I live in a bicycle-friendly neighborhood. But I'd like to keep it sharp. I felt bad with the extended OCI because of the synthetic, but was that appropriate? Thanks.

Just changed my '13 Hyundai Tucson GLS today with Pennzoil Platinum and a Hyundai oil filter. I ended up picking up 0W-20 and didn't realize that it called for 5W-20 until I had already drained the oil. Oh well, I don't think it will hurt anything and I'll go with 5W-20 next time.
