I get is one line pop up on the bottom of my screen every time I get a new page up. Is there a way to get ride of it permanently. I now need to X it out frequently.
"Only secure object are displayed" "What is the risk?" options

I think that will show up if a page has both, secure and non-secure content. You can disable the warning prompt under the browser's Security tab, but at a risk.

You get this prompt for every single page?

You are at an encrypted page where not everything is encrypted. Usually if this happens the site may be serving things like images from a "non-secure" server, which is harmless.

I am most often alerted that "some of the elements on this page are not encrypted" (or something to that effect) bit they're still displayed; so I have to presume that some setting in the browser or some 3rd party security application may be getting a little too strict about what gets displayed on https pages.

Try maybe a more modern browser like Firefox or chrome. Internet explorer 9/10 is really long in the tooth and full of annoyances.
