We just put in a pond aerator. It’s actually a septic tank aerator, but can be used for ponds as well. Hiblow HP80. Looks like a little toaster.

I currently have a 100’ 1/2” sinking hose running from the pump on the shore to the left most center of the pond since that’s the deepest area.

Would it create more work and/ or back pressure for the pump to have it T and run another line to opposite end of the pond? I’d use the same size hose.

no but it might be uneven flow if the discharge is at different depths.

if I'm reading the chart right you want the discharge depth to be no more than 5-6ft. for efficiency.
max usable depth being around 8ft.

It’s always been my understanding that you want it in the deepest area of the pond.

Good point on the different flow. The lesser of the 2 depths will have lesser resistance and more flow. I’d almost be better off getting a second pump for the opposite side.
