I'm in the process of installing some new Moog polyurethane bushings on my car and need to know if I should grease them before install and what type of grease?

Some people have told me to grease them with white boat grease, and some said greasing is not needed. I was thinking of just coating them in chassis grease. Any opinions? thanks.

See if Moog supplies grease, some PU bushing mfrs do.

i would use some nasty, tenacious water resistant grease that will stay in there a long time since you have to take them off to lube them. PU is pretty resistant to grease, so you don't have to worry about damaging them.

Didn't they come with grease?

Some have said it's the same as dielectric grease.

Try and get the ES grease, or another specialty grease at an auto parts store.
The grease squooges out fast because of the high pressure and tight fit.
Thi sis why some bushings come with grooves in them. You can cut some yourself, and maybe add a grease fitting to the assembly [drill through everything and tap the metal part].
