I realize there are a number of factors like temp, driving conditions, engine specs..etc. but just to get a general idea what everyone is running their Mobil 1 at

State your vehicle, OCI and any additional filter changes

96 Jeep 4.0L
5,000 mi- OCI

Every 7,000 miles. 93 Pontiac Grand Prix, 3.1 v6, 245,000 miles and running great (still average between 29 and 31 mpg). I change the filter at the same time also (have been using the Super Tech filters for the last couple of years).

Good Day,
Steven

Whenever the oil change monitor system on our GM minivan says the oil has "20%" of it's usefull life left. This monitor is in theory calibrated for dino oils, so I think I'm being very conservative changing Mobil-1 then. This varies from about 4,500 to 7,500 miles depending on how we have been using the vehicle.

I've alway done 5000 mile changes, just because I don't like the oil to get that dirty. I'm going to try and do 7000 with my new 350Z, but I will continue to do the 5000 with my new 4runner 4.7 V8 just because Toyota calls for a 5000 mile oil change interval. I am sure that Mobil 1 has to be good in any engine under any condition for 1 year or 7500 miles whichever comes first.

M1 0W20 & M1 105 filter in my wifes Honda Odyssey ... changed every 6000mi.

M1 0W40 & M1 206 filter in my Chevrolet Camaro ... in the past I've changed around 5K mi but increasing OCI to 6K from now on.

1995 Subaru Impreza 2.2L
- 3000 miles for first change with M1 then 5000 miles OCI. (First 3000 because I want to change the filter sooner, but I'm also itching to install my new Fumoto valve)

2000 3.2 TL 6mos or 10K.

I get above EPA ratings at 22MPG instead of 19.

I wish it were higher.

'99 Saab 9³ 2.0L turbo, just finished 11,000 miles on 0W-40 with filter changes at ~4,500 & ~9,000 miles, & A-Rx from ~9,000 to 11,000 miles; after A-Rx rinse I'll run 5W-40 for ~9,000 miles & probably do a UOA & filter change at ~4,500 miles (for comparison against 0W-40). Assuming it shows OK, I'll run all subsequent 5W-40 OCIs for 10,000 miles & I won't do any mid-OCI filter changes after that.

'90 Saab 900 16v 2.0L N/A, just finished 11,500 miles on 15W-50 with filter changes at 6,500, 8,000 & 9,800 miles, & A-Rx from 6,500 to 11,500 miles; after A-Rx rinse I'll run 5W-40 for 20,000 miles with a UOA & filter change at 10,000 miles.

'85 Saab 900 8v 2.0L N/A, new purchase & currently in A-Rx cleaning phase; after A-Rx rinse I'll run 5W-40 for 20,000 miles with a filter change at 10,000 miles.
