10psi higher bypass on the 3616

I've always liked running a larger filter vs. a smaller one

Holds more oil, less pressure drop through the filter, keeping it out of bypass more than the smaller one. Although... if you don't/can't prefill your filters before installing during an oil change, it seems that there would me more of a dry start. How much of a difference that makes I couldn't tell you.

I agree with the larger filter; the bigger the better for me. In my apps the filter sits bottom up, so no drainage issues there
