Photo of your parents on their daily walk to school

What town are you closest to? I lived in Kamloops for a few years.

What job did you take at 14, and did you stay in that field?

PG aka Prince George.
I got a job logging, and lived in camp, was a faller/bucker.
At 16 years old I went from hand faller/bucker, to equipment operator, and then at 18 i went from equipment operator to logging truck driver, at 19 bought my own truck.
Grew my trucking company till at its peak had 29 trucks, and 41 trailers.
Sold a lot off since then, just 8 trucks, and 15 trailers now.

What were you doing in Kamloops.
Still have logging trucks, and lowbed logging equipment around for loggers.

You've had an awesome career!

My parents moved from Edmonton to Kamloops when I was in Grade 12. I did two years at Cariboo College (now TRU), worked for a year, and then moved out here (to Winnipeg) "for a year" to finish school. (We had lived here when I was younger, and I thought it would be good to see it again.) That was in 1978, so I guess it was for more than a year ... 😄
