Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty and duck call entrepreneur passed away at age 79.

Fascinating story of a person living the American dream. Phil was raised in a poverty stricken and abusive home. Went on to be a college football player.

Later copied his upbringing and became a negligent and abusive spouse and father. Found faith, and fortunate enough to live in America where people not only have first chances, but second chances

If you have not seen Phil's biographic movie released two years ago, might be worth a watch. My wife and I enjoyed the movie .

Well said my friend!

Wasn't Terry Bradshaw his backup at Louisiana Tech? Or was that the other way around?
Phil Robertson was the starting quarterback at Louisiana Tech University in 1966 and 1967, while Terry Bradshaw was his backup. Robertson eventually quit football to pursue hunting and fishing, and Bradshaw went on to a successful NFL career, including four Super Bowl championships.

Great show. A bit of morality, fun and religion all mixed together in a family friendly way.
