I looking for a summer performance tire for a Dodge Stealth DOHC FWD. I am willing to trade-off some handling for ride comfort and car will be driven mostly in temps above 40 deg F. The tires I am looking at are Firestone Wide Oval, Bridgestone RE760 Sport and General Exclaim UHP, but I am open to others. Would like input with anyone with experience these tires or other similar.

What is OEM tire size? is it 205/65-15 ? And what is wheel width ? You may want to upsize to plus zero, i.e., from 205/65-15 to 215/60-15 or 225/60-15 depends on wheel width.

OEM size is 225/55-16 and the wheel size is 16x8 with an offset of 1.8 inches. I hadn't really considered a +1 size since the OEM diameter is 16 and this would probably cause a firmer ride due to the reduction in sidewall compliance.

If you willing to give up some performance and handling for better ride comfort and low noise, General Altimax HP is probably your kind of tire. It is not too expensive, good tread life, low noise, good ride and currently it has $50 Visa gift card for buying 4 tires.

You may want to use 1 size larger, 235/55-16 instead of 225/55-16 for softer ride. Your wheel size of 16x8 can easily accommodate 235/55-16 tires
