I would run e85 for the trip as well. Do some hard accelerations while merging to aid with cleaning.

Best thing to do with ethanol is to find a pump that will blend between E10 and E85 or just do it yourself. There is a sweet spot where MPG won’t be affected. E20-30 or so.
I saw one of these pumps at a rural BP in Ohio back in 2018 of all places. I have yet to see one in Indiana.
