just think how much phillip morris pays to have the cars painted like a pack of marlboro without actually saying marlboro.

We have no idea of what Mobil pays to have Mobil 1 on everything to be one of his major sponsors. I know what it cost Pennzoil back in the day when Rick Mears drove the Pennzoil Indy Car and the only thing Penske was racing back then was Indy Cars.
But Mobil does not just pay them for advertising. They work very closely with Penske to develop every lubricant they use in all of their racing applications.
