Pennzoul GTL Q?

How much GTL does it take to make (1) quart of Pennzoil oil?
Approximately one quart.

But assuming you meant how much natural gas, an article I read said that the Pearl plant uses approximately 40% of the gas input to the plant as production overhead. So you can do the math from there. But considering the North Field in Qatar is the world's largest and holds about 15% of the world's known reserves for gas they have plenty to work with.

I think what @kschachn is saying is that, by definition, GTL is a liquid. Since liquids are generally incompressible it takes 1 quart to make 1 quart.

Probably a better phrased question would be how much gas does it take to make 1 quart of GTL.

Whenever discussing technical perspectives of the GTL process it is always worthwhile to reference the Shell Pearl information page.

That was just asked a few days ago:

I must have missed it. Ah well, Se La Vie!
