Pennzoil YB or Supertech Full synthetic?

Not counting price, which is better oil additives, TBN, UOA, etc?

lets say in 5w30

PYB is good oil, Supertech is as well. I know that PYB has a great add pack, and Supertech is pretty decent as well. Dino vs Synthetic. It's a toss up really.

The synth label is really a non-issue if you consider PZYB's cold specs. However, ST Synth HM 10w-30 does claim ACEA A3, so it should be up-to-snuff, and thicker.

Let's see PYB $11.50 5qt jug at Wally. ST syn $17-17.50 5qt jug. I'd go with PYB for a normal OCI 5k/6mon. Or I'd spend $.50-1.00 more for QS Horsepower ($18.00-5.00 rebate) and extend the OCI. JMO.

well it would be 5-6k but I did not realize supertech full-syn had creeped up to that price. BUt still cheaper than PP or M1 so just wondered if the ST full-syn was "that much" better than YB that could justify spending a few extra bucks for the car I have in mind.

Pennzoil YB hands down.

The Super Tech synthetic is only available in 5W-30 and 10W-30 around here, and both of them now have the GM4718M Corvette oil spec. It has to be a good oil.
