No values in the "Values Should Be" column for SUS and cSt vis? Weird.
Looks good. Short run for an oil that seems to at least be attempting to stay in grade.
Nice UOA, Blackstone comments are useless as always.
so true w/ the B_S comments.
You are sure breaking that vehicle in with some expensive oil but the results are quite good. I bet you M1 0w40 would work great in this engine too. Stick with the Ultra and keep an eye out for their SN formula, it looks like a new winner, we will see.
Thanks for posting the UOA!

I'm sticking w/ 5w30. I don't want any issues if i ever have a warranty issue.
Break in metals coming down.
Those sure are expensive OCIs; could get the same effect from a decent dino oil. I would presume the OEM OCI is 7.5k miles?
The product you chose is a great fluid; I'm not knocking it. I'm just wondering why you're using such an expensive fluid in such a short manner for break in?
I think some of us find it comforting to use the same oil from our first oil change onwards.
I mentally know break in with dino would be fine, but I wouldn't be able to bring myself to do it!
Can someone provide me one case where viscosity of an oil was tested by multiple labs and used to void a warranty claim please?
No way for the dealership to know this.
You'd have to have Engine lubrication related problems / warranty claim in order for the dealer to question you are your oil choice, and even then whatever you say goes as the dealer will not send a sample to a Lab. (at least i've never heard of it because once an engine is taken apart, a good mechanic will find the cause of the problem)

+1 I did the same with my FX4 (Ultra from the FF dump at 991 miles). Although I know (as many of you will undoubtedly attest) that I could have used PYB for the first few OCs to break it in, there was something about staying with the same oil all the way from the beginning.
I am quite pleased with Ultra; all of my UOAs have been very good.
