Only real thing to note for this oil change was that I took the car to Tail of the Dragon with some buddies of mine from a car group I'm in in July. I was driving...enthusiastically for the entire trip, so I was kinda nervous about what the UOA would say, especially considering the 'Dragon's venom' hit two other cars in our group (friend's FR-S developed rod knock, admittedly more thanks to valve spring recall work, and another friend's F30 328i developed a misfire while we were down there). I used a K&N HP-1002 for this OCI; swapped it for a Fram Ultra Guard XG3614 after reading several posts on this board about it.
I had they asked them about what they thought of the fact that I seem to 'lose' about 1/2 a quart or so over the course of 5k miles and their answer is the same as other people I've asked.
