As mentioned before, my OCIs are by mileage not time, usually between 7k – 7,5K and I keep it topped off. Stock mopar filter 4892339AB on both samples. The W20 oil reprogramming has helped greatly having to only add 1qt. starting after 4,000 miles into the OCI and then keeping it top off until I reach 7.5k. From the report my previous OCI is 17 months/7,405 miles and most recent is 20 months/7,061 miles.

Tigershark is an overbuilt engine but has odd weaknesses.. and likes clean oil.
.1 insolubles is great.
This is the engine with oil actuated variable timing valves. Multiair?

IIRC there was a guy running them in taxi service and he said the best thing you can do for them
is change the oil every 5000 miles.

A healthy tbn would be 3. 2.7 is a touch low but not bad but I'd reduce a bit. 5k intervals would be good with the current oil or you can upgrade to M1 EP, M1 ESP, or Castrol EP.

On this topic, has Blackstone adjusted their TBN recommendation? There for he longest time, I thought 1.0 was their threshold. Now, they are saying it's 2.0 and below. Link:

This Platinum 0w-20 product doesn't have any measurable aluminum in the few VOA linked in @himemsys thread so it seems it's definitely coming from the engine. Have you considered a higher oil grade?

I'm running 5W-30 VRP currently in FIL's Renegade. At 4k it will be down about 1 quart from when I looked at not long ago. The dealer fill on new motor needed 1/2 qt shortly after we picked it up but then stayed full. I will do the VRP 5W-30 again and monitor to see if usage remains the same and then maybe try different brand/type.

One of my friends had an '18 Limited Renegade and was also having the burning issues, multiple recalls etc. He traded it in after crazy warranty hassles with his MySky and the rest. If you like it and want to keep it, consider doing the 5k or whatever the book lists for severe service on yours even though your UOA shows pretty good now.

I have never found a reason to use a high mileage oil or a product like VRP, inside a new engine. If the manufacturer is not using this stuff as their factory fills, then I surely won't consider it either.

Al is high, engine would use Al bearings, so bearing wear is showing.
I’d move to a 30-weight oil to potentially reduce this wear and consumption.
