I live in Tennessee, and run Pennzoil HM 10-30 in my Ford 4.6L sohc with 85,000 miles. Can i keep using the same in winter, or do I need to go to a lower weight? Which oils would you suggest, if that's the case? I drive about 50 miles/day.

Thanks again...in advance.

If you seldom get much below freezing, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't continue using the 10W30.

Seeing where you live the 10W30 Pennzoil HM will do fine. I live in northern Minnesota and believe it or not there are many people up here who just use regular oil all year long, some 5W30 and some 10W30; and they just keep on going.

Good Day,
Steven
