What are the benefits of paying about 75 cents more for quart for a high mileage versus regular Pennzoil ?? or what are exactly the additives?

The oil consumption on my (2) 91 Corsicas, 2.2L, 150,0000 and 190,000 went from (1)qt every 300-500 mi to about 1500-2000 mi using a 50/50 mix of 10-30 hi-mileage and 15-40 longlife.
The only other thing I found to reduce consumption that much was a qt of Lucas oil stabilizer at oil change.
Now, the question is, which one of the Pennzoils did the most good for consumption.

The HM oil has a big chunk of Boron , more Calcium and Zinc as I remember . I think it's well worth the additional centavos myself .

I think of it as a more gasoline engine friendly HD oil .

Theres a good UOA of it in a Ford with a 400 engine in the other section .
