Pennzoil Euro 0W40 vs Pennzoil Euro 5w40 - the 5w40 cost twice as much. Is there a good reason?

Just a short question about the two Pennzoil Euros. The 5w40 is $52 for 6 quarts and the 0w40 is about $26 on Walmart for 5 quarts. Most importantly is one oil technically superior than the other ?

I’m not sure Mobil 1ow40 still has the LL 01 approva. I’ve been reading and many of the well informed posters suggest the both of these 0w40s are superior even without the LL 01 I believe

Yeah, all the 0W-40's lost LL-01 when BMW updated their oxidation requirements, but I'd still run them, lol.

If the 0w40 flavor meets MS-12991 spec, that'd be a cheaper oil to run in the EcoD.
