There has been debate here as to whether or not YB 5W20 is a blend.

Here is what I got from Pennzoil regarding using it in my 08 F150:

Pennzoil Advance 5W-20 conventional motor oil does meet the Ford Synthetic Blend specification of WSS-M2C930-A. This formulation would be perfectly acceptable to use in your vehicle because it does meet / exceed Ford's warranty requirements.

I'd use it no problem. This week, I had a free voucher for my dealer to change the oil in my '03 F150 5.4L. They used Quaker State bulk 5W20. I'll be pulling my Jeep and buggy either flat towing or on the trailer all summer, with the A/C on, up the hills/mountains of western Mass and parts of NH. It will be fine. If it meets the spec, then what the heck. If I didn't have my stash of 5W30 QS Q-Torque and Q-Horsepower, I'd be using the good 'ol green bottle 5W20 anyway (and I'm more of a thick oil kinda guy). The EFI and cooling systems in our trucks keep the 20wt right where it needs to be.

Kinda off topic but you know what, I have been to a lot of dealerships for work that I can't do myself and I had never heard of dealerships using QS, convential, semi-syn or syn. The toyota dealership I go to also uses QS for oil changes. Who ever the QS rep is in western and south western massachusetts needs a raise. He/she is doing a great job right now.

I think all the Rick Hendrick-owned dealerships use Quaker State. I'd have to dig up my g/f's OCI receipt from his local Honda store but I'm sure its Quaker State oil.
