They are made by the same company, but they like to claim that the products are different. My guess is that they have very minor differences in order to maintain plausible deniability concerning whether they are identical.

According to Johnny, Pennzoil has Group II+ stocks whereas QS only has Group II.

For practical purposes, they are both quality oils that will serve you well to at least 5000 miles or longer.

Agree with the above. Different, but both really good oils. Running QS now and for the price, like it a lot. Once my stash is done, I may go to YB. Both are great values and proven performers.

I thought I heard someone say one has an infineon add pack, and another has a lubrizol add pack.

Could be wrong.

I'd say Pennzoil is the better of the two but both would give you long engine life.

I either buy QS or Mobil Clean 5000 at Walmart. Both cheap/good oils.

I have a bottle of both in the Garage and they have different specs on the back that they meet, so there is a difference.

The YB meets more spec's than the QS Peak.
