Pennzoil; different Corporate owner now?

I just saw in another post that Pennzoil has now changed hands. Can someone elaborate? Will pennzoil continue to be good oil?

Pennzoil-Quaker St. Corp. was bought by Royal Dutch/Shell on October 1, 2002.

Even if it continues to be good, will I be getting the consistency I am feel I am paying through the nose for? I want more than any good oil, I want to stick with what has worked well in the past. P, Q, or S, is it all going to be the same? Aruuuuuuuuugh!
