Just filled the Duramax with Dexcool.

I bought Peak LL for my quad at AAP while recycling my AMEX gift card for more Valvoline Nextgen. Should I use the green stuff instead? Will HOAT hurt the Fuji alloy motor?

What is recomended for your Quad?

I'd thing that Peak LL would be OK for the alloy but, it's hard to say if the Peak LL is compatable with the gaskets. I just don't know!

Difficult to answer and I can see why your question has gone unanswered for so long. I guess that only the MFG can really answer your question reliably.

Rec fluid is Polaris AF. Below is the email response from Peak after asking if Peak LL (red cap) is okay.

Thanks for your e-mail. You require a Silicate free formulation in your Polaris. The PEAK LONG LIFE is a Silicate free antifreeze and can safely be use in the cooling system of your ATV. If properly maintained, you may keep the coolant in the system for 5 years.

Polaris buys their coolant from a bulk supplier and relables. Does anyone know what type the factory uses. My dealer wants $57 per gallon which is absolute highway robbery. Of course you can use anything, but what would be the closest thing to polaris coolant?
