peak global price

my local K-Mart has Peak global 50/50 for $11.50

As a shock.. I was in 7-11 today, and they have 3 gallons of Peak Global 50/50 for $8.11!

I wish they had it in concentrate.. I'm thinking I'll get the peak global from 7-11.. I kinda know the owner of that store, they have low low prices on their car stuff.. she doesn't know how to price it correctly!

I'm not sure if it was the Global stuff, but the Wal-Mart near here had Peak 50/50 coolant (without 2-EHA, I checked...unless it's one of their proprietary, trade secret ingredients) for $4.50/gal.

my walmart here doesn't have a nice selection based upon what I've been reading here. my walmart doesn't have all the goodies

my local Ace Hardware sells the Global concentrate for $15! Of coruse, they're always higher then anything else.

IF it's Peak and doesn't say Global then I think it is a 2-EHA formula.

Peak Global Lifetime 50/50 at Walgreens for $9.99, but I didn't buy any. Looking for a source for the full strength around here.

The Keyword is LIFETIME or PROFESIONAL that is their premium product.

Is that peak Global Lifetime or Extended Life

It was Peak Global Lifetime and not just the Extended Life. Kmart also had the Peak Extended Life in a white bottle and the ingredients list didn't have the "NJRS.." telltale that the Peak EL/LL has at other stores, so it can get confusing but I think that is still a Dexclone. The one I mentioned on sale for $9.99 was definitely PGL.

I did see 2 lonely jugs of Peak Pro Life at Pep Boys for $21.99, no bargain there.

I think if you have a pressurized reservoir and don't run your car for any extended period of time with the coolant very low, like the reservoir empty, then I don't reallty see what PGL offers over Dexcool. There's no real reason to believe the OATs in PGL are any less agressive with plastics.

Dexcool has been ran through the ringer by several OEMs and several big anti-freeze manufactures, so it is proven to protect against corrosion.
