Here is some good info regarding Peak: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=peak%20global%20liftime%20diesel&source=web&cd=9&ved=0CHgQFjAI&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.boyerpetroleum.com%2Fdocuments%2Fpeak-af.pdf&ei=xIYrT_e5HMHo2gWLouHiDg&usg=AFQjCNG83Nq9Jmp8FX2G5rrOa6wPFt7Zfg&cad=rja

Right away I see that Peak recommends PEAK Global Antifreeze as a replacement for G-05. Global is a no-silicate coolant, G-05 is not. In addition they recommend it as a top-off for ANY coolant, including G-05 and DexCool. That's exceptionally bad advice.

I don't think you need silicates anymore for a diesel, especially a light duty one. If that is your concern.

Global and G-05 are nitrited for diesel use, so that's not the issue. Global is not chemistry compatible with G-05 and is not a direct replacement for a silicated coolant. If you top off an incompatible coolant with it, you can reduce the life of the original coolant drastically. Prestone makes the same mistake.

Older ones do, at least the IDI 7.3/6.9 Internationals do (for the front cover and oil cooler o-rings). G-05 is also not really fully formulated, Ford recommends VC-8 SCAs with it in a diesel application (apparently not in a coolant filter, though), not sure what you would use in the Global?
