PEA cleaner

I bought this gumout multipurpose PEA fuel system cleaner. It says I can add it to the oil. 1 ounce per quart of oil. I was wondering if I should do it or not and if so should I add it with an oil change or before oil change?

Other than following the instructions from the producer of the product, what is that you are wondering? What exactly is the problem you’re trying to correct with the additive?
