pcv valve on 02 ford explorer 4.0 v-6

Can anyone tell me the location of the pcv valve on the 02 ford explorer 4.0 v-6? I think it is in the back on the driver's side with o hose that goes from the intake to the back of the valve cover.I was told by one person that you need to un-hook the hose from the intake and then from the back of the valve cover. Has anyone changed one before on this model and do you have any advice?

Here's a picture of it, but I don't have anything else to refer to in terms of where it is in relation to the rest of the engine.
