Parts Master synthetic 67356x based on the wix57356xp made by champion labs, 58pleets synthetic media silicone ADBV and gasket: sold by bumper to bumper/auto value parts store. Pretty well made. Used them for years. I noticed their standard filters don’t seem to get much love. Just thought I’d share my experience with you fellas &gals

Edit: I should have said the product was a collaboration with WIX not that it’s based on WIX

neither based on a wix nor made by champion labs. looks to be cellulose blended media, not full synthetic.

edit, corrected and is built by champion labs.

i take back the champion labs, haven’t ever seen them build a filter like this. still not based on a wix.
That’s who the original contract was through. When AAA first released the filter. I’m only giving you the information I have. Based on the product announcement video sourced below, (relevant content is at 2:07seconds in so you don’t have to watch the whole thing)

Not trying to argue, just trying to present the facts that I have. I pride myself on being as transparent as possible

I edited my above post to reflect the language of the video. Words are important.

thanks.. what does the stamp on top of the can look like??.. I know the BOX says made by Champ but I have never seen them use holes on a core or use a silicone gasket on anything.. Definitely LOOKS Asian.

Thanks very much !..

I knew this was an Asian filter because it is just too well done plus the core!!!
No problem my guy. Like I said just trying to share my experience with them, they seem to be better built than the standard parts master filter, and they hold up great. I’ll try to remember to autopsy one after use for you guys.

Not sure how to read the date code but guessing at least 2024 ?

I have seen Parts Master "synthetic" that look to be Fram or Champ filters so could be random build when buying these.

When did you get this one and you walked into one of those stores you mentioned for purchase ?

I bought that one yesterday along with 4 others and yes I have walked in to a Bumper to Bumper; I have a shop account with them for my side gig, I only get discounts on body shop materials and paint though, unfortunately 😞
