Parts included with battery

Purchased a new battery for my Honda Foreman. The plastic cover which came on the battery is pictured. I guess i am getting feeble but what are the two brass colored parts for? The battery came with bolts and nuts to make the connections.

Looks like battery clamp nut to me. Are they threaded?

Some systems use unique installation procedures so the battery supplier equips their batteries for alternate designs. These things are spacers that come in handy if your bikes uses them.

No they are not threaded. So thanks, they are spacers
