PAO's, Esters, Hydro cracked?

Has there ever been a guide published that lists the base stock of each individual synthetic manufacturer. There seems to be quite some difference the diffrent manufacturers
use, for example: Castrol Syntec, hydro-cracked
Mobile 1, PAO's
If anyone has seen it or know s the base stocks of the various manufacturers, would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
