Living in the frozen north has prompted me to think that I should not be storing my surplus stock of PAO group IV oil out in my unheated garage all winter. I vaguely remember reading once that prolonged storage of PAO's at cold temperatures may cause problems with additive stability. Can anyone confirm this and possibly supply some data as to how long and at what temperatures?
