I bought a little beater truck to tinker with and it has a p1409 evr code? Evr is electronic vacuum regulator I believe. The actual vacuum portion of the egr is working I confirmed that. However I'm unsure of where the evr solenoid is located. Any one have any information or how to check it? If there is a way to bypass it I'm also ok with that since I don't need emissions. The engine light doesn't bother me. All help is appreciated.

Fix it right and don't be a dumb bypassing emissions.
