P0108 code on 96 Buick with 6 cyl

A friend has a 96 Buick (Century I think) with a 6 cyl and AT and I scanned the codes(s) and found a P0108 code. It says manifold pressure. I cleared the code and it came back a minute or so after starting and driving. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

The description I found (for Subaru) but that's a P0 code so I think it should be the same on all vehicles, says DTC P0108 - PRESSURE SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT.

I'd check all the harnesses between that sensor and the ECU. The sensor should be on the intake manifold somewhere after the throttle body. Sometimes the MAP and ITA (intake air) are in the same unit. If all connections are good I suppose replacing the sensor might be in order?

Unplug MAP ..jump out map. See if the code changes to something else (assuming the MAP reading caused the code to begin with).

OK, thanks for the suggestions. The P0108 is sensing a voltage too high, and a P0107 is voltage too low. I would guess that if it was a low voltage then it could be wiring or connector, but if voltage is too high then I would guess its the MAP sensor itself. Does this make any sense?
