Is there a method to seal a seam leak in a polypropylene container? Ed

Yes, AAP sold Product, wish i membered the name, it was a basic epoxy, when you cracked open the package, mixed together, the thing got really hot, even repaired the plastic side tanks on the radiator of my friends Cadillac

you could try a plastic welder. I did this on my LT150 John Deere hood. They are very expensive to replace!

I used to have a soldering gun that had an accessory tip that had a fat surface about the size of a dime . I used it to repair plastic parts several times . If you can't find anything like that then the two part epoxy method might work .`

There are a number of JB Weld epoxy products that will work. Forget which I used several years ago on overflow container on my Slingshot but it worked well. The Slingshot used a GM 2.4 motor so it was a typical overflow container. There were a number that developed leaks back then around the seam.
