Hello all,
Does anyone know any information about O’Riellys Syntec brand oil??
Tried to Google it but no specific information,

Thanks

It is made by Castrol in a facility in Louisiana that Calumet runs.

Typical good specs like Dexos approval and API SP...

Should be a good oil.

IF it is a special like $30.99 or less with a Wix filter... Would be a ok routine everyday type deal.

So my question.
Is this a omnipack product or has oh really
Changed its oil line across the board to this
Manufacturer

Omnipack in Shreveport makes the orielly oil have they changed to this "Castrol " made oil from a different source

SYNTEC by O'Reilly uses the BP dexos license number. So an educated guess would be it's made by Castrol. Not sure about the standard O'Reilly lubricants.

Got it
Bringing back the SYNTEC name for a marketing deal good to know thank you for the info

Off topic, but I bought a Holley carburetor from O’Reilly’s and they really had a great price on it, like 45 bucks cheaper than Summit. If you need something for your car, take a look at their website and chances are better than you’d think that they have a good price on what you need. I was surprised because I always kind of thought of them as kind of a place to buy windshield wipers or batteries on your way home, but not for “real” auto parts.
