I really hope all companies copy off of Havoline and use the bag-in-a-box package type. It makes so much sense in every way, the outer box biodegrades, and the thin plastic bag with the residue will photodegrade over time in the landfill. Yes they are a PITA to get used to, but the reduction in waste is huge. The big plastic jugs, and the quarts of oil take a VERY long time to degrade.
O'Reilly's took my used oil but not the bottles; should I throw them in garbage?
