Does anyone know if Oreilly Auto still gives gift cards if you drop off an old used automotive battery? I thought I remember something about that, and I"d like to get a gift card if that's the case.. Yes I could call but easier to ask everyone here...

Not at all, Things change & it doesn't hurt to ask. Luckily it appears as though this is still in place.
I turned two in last summer for ten dollars each for a twenty dollar store coupon. Advance Auto does the same.

I don't know if you are talking quantity or store coupon amount??? Unless they changed, I also took a neighbor's battery at my local Advance, got a ten dollar store coupon.
I meant to convey that the AAP counterman told me I could bring in up to 5 batteries. I had brought in one and we chatted when I brought in the next two. I was responding to a window sign.
I assumed that to mean "5 per AAP Customer Card" because a credit is added to the card.
