opinions on Motorcraft synblend 0w-20

Motorcraft oil is made by Conocco and is top quality. Your engine will probably be fine. That said Subaru requires full synthetic in their 2013 vehicles.
 
Don't worry about it. It will blow the head gaskets LONG before you'll have any problems with the bottom end.

MC 5w-20 syn/blend was tested a couple of years ago against Mobil 1 5w-20 in a taxi test in Las Vegas and Houston. The results after a year and tearing down I think 6 engines was, no difference. It appears that both of these oils did an excellent job.

I must have missed that one. Anyone have a link? I have to check that one out.

I have been delivering cases of it to dealers for almost a year now. They're the only ones that have been buying it.

Negative. API SM/SN GF-4/GF-5 is the warranty requirement.
