opinions on Motorcraft synblend 0w-20

I took my ladies 2013 suburu impreza in for "the works" at my local ford dealership. They used Motorcraft SB 0w-20, I'm sure it will hold up to the 7500 change interval suburu recommends. But is there any data on this product besides the TDS?

We have run 0w20 syn blend in honda fit from honda. I think its okay but full syn is the way to go.

Motorcraft oil is made by Conocco and is top quality. Your engine will probably be fine. That said Subaru requires full synthetic in their 2013 vehicles.

Subaru warranty requires full synthetic.

Don't worry about it. It will blow the head gaskets LONG before you'll have any problems with the bottom end.

They said they used 0W20 but what they actually used who knows...

We have it in 1qt, 5qt, and bulk. It is spec'd for 13+ Fusion Hybrid, MKZ Hybrid and C-Max models. Like almost every Motorcraft oil it comes from Conono-Phillips.

MC 5w-20 syn/blend was tested a couple of years ago against Mobil 1 5w-20 in a taxi test in Las Vegas and Houston. The results after a year and tearing down I think 6 engines was, no difference. It appears that both of these oils did an excellent job.

I must have missed that one. Anyone have a link? I have to check that one out.

I have been delivering cases of it to dealers for almost a year now. They're the only ones that have been buying it.

Negative. API SM/SN GF-4/GF-5 is the warranty requirement.
