Opinion on this TV

imo, QLED is not worth it, especially on lower tier brands like TCL or Hisense. Best Buy has a Samsung LCD for $349, I'd take that over the TCL from Amazon at the same price.

After searching for two days, Wal Mart seems the best deal for the Q6 model. with free shipping for Thursday delivery. I bought the 5 year extended warranty for $49. Wal mart has the best and easiest return policies for largeTV's. The item at Best Buy is N/A in my area. Costco and Amazon seem sold out on a lot of TV's this size.

Fed Ex delivers a lot of my WalMart orders. Not my first dog and pony show in the shipping of TV's. Plus they are usually here by noon.

I'd put the Samsung in the back of my truck and drop it in the creek.

Samsung 🤢
Have a friend that repairs TVs as part of his IT business.
Samsung is not what it was, by a long measure.
TCL/Hisense has come a LONG ways, in a short time.

Take a look at what Tom's Picks said about the U8....

I agree on the QLED, but I would take a cheap TCL over a cheap Samsung. Everything I read says the same - don't buy a cheap Samsung or LG TV- they can't compete with the no name Chinese ones and cut extra corners and don't last.

I have a cheap TCL I bought in the depths of the pandemic because that was all walmart had that day, and its worked fine.

I'd take the cheap TCL too, not a QLED. $100 less and running Google TV over Samsung's OS.

I bought a 50 inch TCL Roku TV on Black Friday it’s a 4K and it’s awesome. It was like $186 or something I can’t remember but it is great. I would never buy a Samsung product ever prefer to stay away from LG too. We have always used TCL, Philips and Vizio for Smart TVs back in the day we only would buy Magnavox though haha.
