Opinion on this filter

I found this oil filter for my car and its a great buy at less than 3 bucks. Can someone tell me who makes it(denso?)and your thoughts on the quality of the filter. Thanks,

No way to get "in" on it, pal. "FULL" doesn't turn up anything useful from google ..even Full quality filters give you garbage. Maybe someone actually bought on here

Can't tell from the can in the picture. It should have the origin of manufacture on it if imported.

One could always call and inquire as to where they are made. Could be Japan or Korea as well.

thanks guys. I googled it too and found nothing. I believe it is made by Nippon, from the search i did on this site. I'll probably do a UOA with particle count to see how good it is.

Well, usually if you have a good particle count ..you'll have the rest of the filter be of higher quality too ..but there's other factors like ADBV quality and integrity. Some don't like dome end bypass valves ..etc.

You wouldn't like a start up rattle regardless of how good the PC was (I'm speaking of total consumer satisfaction).
