Iron block, iron crank, iron cam, iron heads all oxidizing and wearing away. I bet this kind of UOA was common back in the days, minus some of the newer additives. It got watered down to 11.3cSt with a full percentage of fuel...wow

I have seen many 60's engines last over 150,000 miles. The lack of maintenance is what killed the engines just as lack of maintenance kills todays engines. But lead in the gasline really was tough on the engines .Getting the lead out was the best thing to happen to engines. How long was the engine sitting ? Look at the additive amounts!!! poor quality oil. I would have to guess a run of Amsoil would get the engine squared away.
