Old QS grease

I was at my dads today, and I used his grease gun to grease my fittings. He told me it was quaker state lithium grease so I just used it. After I was do I noticed it was from 1988(ish). Do I have anything to worry about. The vehicle I used it on is an 02 GM sonoma, if that makes any difference.

wow, that's rare. You should get him a new tube of grease and put that think away until 2018 or something. Back on topic, I don't think grease ever goes bad. As long as it's still greasy it should be fine.
