Old Pl 14477

I cut this open at the dome end because it's way easier when using tin snips.
It's been laying around for a number of months now.
I don't remember how many miles honestly.

I have an old m1 and I tried to pinch the edge of the dome end to cut into same as this but it's not happening. The M1 is too thick.
Anyway everything was fine with the pure one. There is a lot of extra glue like I haven't seen on these before but it doesn't hurt.
I posted the date code??

You're correct, pretty old. Made July 2009, iirc first year of the yellow textured P1. Extra potting material not uncommon on these. Looks ok, like it got the job done.

As for can opening method, more than one way to skin a cat, or in this case an OF can.
