Old Kendall Superb 100 10w30 Can

How old is this oil? My grandfather moving to a nursing home and found it while cleaning his garage.

What would you do with it?

'80s for sure. It might have a date code to nail it down further.
It is a nice piece of garage art.

When did they start labeling oil with "Energy Conserving?"

Had to have been in the '80s, a 10W30 would never be labeled "Energy Conserving" now! This actually oil that could technically be used in the IDI 7.3 diesel in my sig, and it's a 1989, the cap says "SF/CC".

I remember using the Kendall 10W-30 in the early 80's maybe 1981 or 82. I may still have a can of it buried somewhere in the garage.
