OLD Honeywell made Fram TG8316, 5114.5 mi

Greetings,

I haven't posted in quite some time, but I thought folks might enjoy this OLD Fram Tough Guard that I just removed from service. I didn't save the box, but it was a Honeywell made "Imported to Canada" TG8316 Fram, with a date code of C81283. My best guess is 2008 for the year since the box recommended it for 5,000 miles, and it still has the screen over the bypass. Filter was in use for 6 months and 163.5 hours of engine run time. ADBV nice and soft, no issues, media not brittle at all. These came from Rock Auto as a closeout filter, appear to be Pep Boys overstock/old stock. Please enjoy the pictures.

Another (newer) 2013 vintage TG8316 went back on, Scott 1000 roll in the Frantz Oil Refiner is gonna stay for another 5,000 unless it stops getting hot partway thru the OCI in which case I'll swap it out and top off, Oil back in was 4 quarts of Power Driven Diesel 15w40 CI-4 (ish) spec and 1 quart of clearance Valvoline "Daily Protection" SAE 50 API SP, which is a weird oil in the Daily Protection VWB family, but it was 75 cents per quart and rounds out the required 5 quarts needed for a fill nicely. It'll all stay in/on for another 5,000 miles. Current engine mileage was 355,055 at time of the change.
