Oil stashes

This might ad a bit of gas to the fire. I understand the $10 per jug rebate Pennzoil was running in Canada the last few years is now cancelled. My last rebate was just before year end 2019.
I was not awareof the end of the rebate program...... Costco's Kirkland syth is looking better than i suspected... ;)

This is the stash I've moved to my garage now 11x Delo 400XSP 5w40, 11x RGT 5w30, and 5x RGT 5W20.

3.5 qt of 0W-20.
1.5 qt of 5W-30.
1.0 qt of 10W-30.
Got anything that holds 6.0 qt?

If you I was there you could dump it in my 700 bhp Mustang along with 3 qt of Rotella T6 5W-40.

Don't make this stuff overly complicated.

I’ve had a good couple of years grabbing up clearance oil. I’m all set for the next four years for both of my cars and my tractor.

My current stash:
55 quarts SuperTech 0W-16 API SN Plus RC @ $0.70/quart.

20 quarts Shell Rotella Gas Truck 0W-20 API SN Plus RC @ $1/quart

18 quarts Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 API CK-4 @ $0.74/quart

Hard to pass up $2/qt synthetic oil when I'm using 30-40 quarts per year.
Sure, I could leave it at the store and pay whatever the price is the day I need it, but I'd probably pay more, and then I run the risk of them not having what I'm looking for. Then of course I'm either making a special trip just for the oil, or putting off the oil change until I make the trip for something else.
Nah, easier to buy it when the price is good, then already have it when I need it. I do try not to have more than 2 years worth at any given time, but I admit when the price dips low enough I sometimes overstock a bit.

I sometimes do the same with windshield washer fluid. Sale + rebate can bring the price down under $1/gal, so might as well buy a case every year or two.

I have a whole pallet of oil. I store it at Costco and they let me pick it up and pay for it as needed.
That's great for you but I live in Indiana, I own my home flat out and real estate is cheaper than cheap, so it costs me virtually nothing to stash oil when it's only a couple bucks a jug.

I have been on the wagon regarding oil purchases for 8 months now. I’m down to 14 jugs, mostly Pennzoil and QS. I guess I’ve been vindicated since both Pennzoil and Quaker State have ended their Canadian rebates. My plan is stay on the wagon for another year if I can. Generally the sales at Canadian Tire will probably gone my main supply. The Mobil rebates don’t apply in Canada. My vehicles generally get two oil changes per year. I’m talking care of 3 vehicles with regular changes and a beater with a once per year low milage change.

I fell of the Wagon Saturday morning. But I bought it for my Grandson's 16 Birthday and his first Oil change. Might even get a rebate. This is what I bought on Rollback for $22.38

Unfortunately EP is $24.37 here and regular $22.38 but it's still a good deal. At $0.01 per jug less after rebate who could resist the EP? Just bout 2 x 5 qt of 5W-30 myself.
