I have a stash of toilet paper now
I was not awareof the end of the rebate program...... Costco's Kirkland syth is looking better than i suspected...This might ad a bit of gas to the fire. I understand the $10 per jug rebate Pennzoil was running in Canada the last few years is now cancelled. My last rebate was just before year end 2019.
I jumped all over it too!60 qts Mobil 1 5w30 ESP. Why keep so much? $5.45 a qt that's why.
You can open a store with that amount of oil.
Oil | 0W-20 | 5W-20 | 5W-30 |
Redline | 20 | ||
Valvoline Moder Engine | 22 | 11 | |
Rotella Gas Truck | 24 | 6 | |
Kendall GT-1 Max | 13 |
I have a bunch of small "left-over" amounts:
1/2 Qt M1 AFE 0W20
1/2 Qt M1 HM 5W30
1/2 Qt Valvoline ML Redbottle 5W30
1/2 Qt Castrol GTX Ultraclean 5W30
1 Qt Valvoline Full Syn ML 10W30
3 Qt Valvoline Full Syn ML 0W20
What the heck do I do with this stuff?
That's great for you but I live in Indiana, I own my home flat out and real estate is cheaper than cheap, so it costs me virtually nothing to stash oil when it's only a couple bucks a jug.I have a whole pallet of oil. I store it at Costco and they let me pick it up and pay for it as needed.
I have been on the wagon regarding oil purchases for 8 months now. I’m down to 14 jugs, mostly Pennzoil and QS. I guess I’ve been vindicated since both Pennzoil and Quaker State have ended their Canadian rebates. My plan is stay on the wagon for another year if I can. Generally the sales at Canadian Tire will probably gone my main supply. The Mobil rebates don’t apply in Canada. My vehicles generally get two oil changes per year. I’m talking care of 3 vehicles with regular changes and a beater with a once per year low milage change.
I fell of the Wagon Saturday morning. But I bought it for my Grandson's 16 Birthday and his first Oil change. Might even get a rebate. This is what I bought on Rollback for $22.38 View attachment 27654
