Do you not understand the simple concept that the chemistry between different oils is different? Do you realize that they don't just dump stuff in the bottle and hope it works? Are you aware of of additive/detergent/anti-wear competition?
Not all oils are created equally, nor are they using the same exact formulations.

Here's a quote from Dave at RL in an email to me today:
"I wouldn't expect an additive clash between our Motor Oils and another product, either the additives or the moly."
Now I appreciate that won't be good enough for you.
I and many other members have mixed RL with other oils for years and will continue to do so. Their Break-In Additive is in a couple of my cars.
Can you not let us have our fun without the attacks?
